Fresh out of the University of Oxford with a first-class degree in biochemistry, Josie joined IP Asset as a trainee patent attorney in October 2019. As part of her MBiochem degree she spent time in the lab working on rescue and repair of stalled replication forks in fission yeast, and during her summers she was fortunate enough to complete competitive courses and placements in Stanford University and ETH Zurich. She contributed heavily to Oxford’s science journalism scene and still enjoys editing scientific articles when she can.
Josie can’t keep away from mountains, trees, and the outdoors and will find every excuse to escape to them. She also enjoys singing, spending time with friends, travelling, and new challenges.
