David joined IP Asset in February 2025 as Head of Commercial. David’s career began in motorsport as a design engineer at Formula One and World Endurance Championship teams culminating in the GTE class victory at Le Mans 2020. Following this, David went on to add commercial experience to his technical background leading a start-up investment and accelerator programme focused on the advanced engineering and deep tech sector. Supporting start-ups across product development, product market fit, operations, marketing and more. Additionally David has experience bridging commercial and technical domains within the New Concepts team at Dyson.
Outside of work, David can be found training for cycling sportives, working on his house renovation and supporting STEM educational initiatives.
