Alec joined the team in January 2020, having spent the previous ten years in Management, for both the NHS and in retail, as well as acting as a freelance writer. Prior to that, he has ten years’ experience in IP, having served as a Paralegal in London, where he passed the Certified Institute of Patent Attorney Formalities Examinations.
To keep himself active and busy away from the office, Alec spends his summer weekends playing league cricket, and is a keen runner. He also enjoys playing the piano, composing music, and performing at Open Mic events. As an active member of the local Amateur Dramatics Society, Alec has written a handful of plays for local theatre groups, and is in the process of producing a musical for 2021.
Having travelled to most of the continents following the England cricket team, he still harbours an ambition to visit South America.
